Terms of Service for Anant

1. Acceptance of Terms

Binding legal agreement between you and Global Agent Studio.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Global Agent Studio ("we", "our", or "us"), governing your access to and use of the mobile application "Anant - Sacred Scripture & AI Wisdom" (Application ID / Package Name: com.globalagentstudio.anant).

By downloading, installing, registering an account, accessing, or using the Anant mobile application in any form, you represent and warrant that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using and uninstall the application immediately.

2. Description of the Service & Purpose

The nature and sacred purpose of the Anant platform.

Anant is a spiritual, cultural, and educational application providing digital access to ancient Hindu scriptures, classical Sanskrit verses (shlokas), Hindi and English translations, word-by-word meanings, audio recitations, Vedic calendar calculations (Panchang), temple radar ('Mandir Finder'), and an AI-assisted scripture companion ('Veda AI').

The Service is provided for personal spiritual contemplation, cultural education, academic inquiry, devotional recitation, and meditation practice.

3. Open-Source Vedic Content, Scriptures & Heritage

Attribution, cultural public domain heritage, and permitted usage.

Anant curates sacred wisdom passed down through millennia. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding scriptural content:

• Public Domain & Cultural Heritage: The ancient Sanskrit root texts, shlokas, verses, traditional commentaries, transliterations, and audio recitations (including the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Mahabharata, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Shiva Tandava Stotram, Hanuman Chalisa, and Vedic astrological calculations) are gathered and curated from verified open-source cultural repositories, public domain archives, and classical Sanskrit databases.
• Authenticity & Sacred Reverence: We endeavor to preserve authentic Sanskrit pronunciation, metrical accuracy, and grammatical precision in all published verses.
• Permitted Non-Commercial Personal Use: You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read, listen to, bookmark, and share individual verses for devotional and inspirational personal non-commercial purposes.
• Prohibited Exploitation: You may not commercially redistribute, sell, sub-license, scrape, mass-extract, or create unauthorized commercial derivative products from the digitized application content and software assets.

4. Artificial Intelligence (Veda AI) Terms & Disclaimers

Clear rules and disclaimers for interactive AI guidance.

Anant includes 'Veda AI', an intelligent conversational companion that provides scripture explanations, philosophical reflections, and historical context:

• Educational & Contemplative Use Only: Veda AI is designed solely for spiritual study, scripture navigation, and philosophical reflection based on classical Vedic literature.
• No Professional Advice: Veda AI does NOT provide licensed medical, psychiatric, psychological, mental health, legal, or financial counseling. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical attention because of content generated by Veda AI.
• AI Output Reliability: While calibrated against authentic scriptural references, AI-generated explanations may occasionally contain interpretive inaccuracies. Users are encouraged to study the direct primary shlokas provided in the app.
• User Data Privacy: Conversations with Veda AI are processed securely via enterprise APIs and are never used to train public foundation AI models.
• Acceptable Use: You agree not to submit abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful prompts to Veda AI.

5. 'Find Mandir Near Me' (Location Services) Terms

Guidelines for the optional temple discovery radar.

Anant provides an optional 'Mandir Finder' tool to help users locate nearby Hindu temples:

• Optional Permission: Access to device GPS location is entirely optional. You may decline location permissions and still enjoy all other features of the application.
• Zero Server Storage: Location coordinates are processed ephemerally on your mobile device to calculate distance from public temple coordinates. Global Agent Studio never logs, stores, or tracks user location on its servers.
• Data Accuracy Disclaimer: Temple listings, coordinates, opening hours, and pujas are sourced from public geospatial datasets (such as OpenStreetMap). While we strive for accuracy, users are encouraged to verify timings with local temple authorities before traveling.

6. User Accounts, Authentication & Security

Your responsibilities and your absolute right to account deletion.

When you create an account on Anant using your email, mobile phone number (OTP), or Google Sign-In:

• Accurate Information: You agree to provide valid, active contact details for verification and account recovery purposes.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any OTP verification codes.
• Complete Right to Delete: You retain full ownership and the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via the in-app profile screen (Profile -> Account & Security -> Delete Account) or by emailing contact@globalagentstudio.com.

7. Voluntary Donations, Dakshina & Razorpay Payment Terms

Financial contributions, payment gateway partner, and refund terms.

Anant is committed to preserving sacred Vedic wisdom, classical Sanskrit shlokas, devotional audio, and spiritual AI assistance freely for seekers worldwide. Users may choose to make voluntary contributions ('Dakshina' / Donations) to support server hosting, Veda AI API compute, and ongoing scripture digitization:

• Authorized Payment Gateway (Razorpay): All in-app donations and payments are securely processed by our authorized payment aggregator, Razorpay Software Private Limited (Razorpay). Razorpay adheres to the highest industry standards of security including PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
• Voluntary Nature: Contributions are entirely voluntary. No access to basic public scriptures is restricted if a user elects not to donate.
• Accepted Payment Methods: Donations can be made in Indian Rupees (INR) and supported international currencies through UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Credit/Debit Cards, and Netbanking via Razorpay.
• No Hidden Subscriptions / Recurring Charges: In-app donations are one-time voluntary contributions. We never initiate recurring auto-debit charges without explicit donor authorization.
• Cancellation & Refund Terms: Donations are governed by our official Cancellation Policy (48–72 hour grace period for unintended/duplicate charges) and Refund Policy (settlement within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method).
• Digital Delivery: Donation receipts and confirmations are delivered electronically and instantaneously on-screen and via email. No physical goods or merchandise are shipped.
• Merchant Entity: The Anant mobile application and associated payment accounts are operated by Global Agent Studio (operated in association with BRIGHT MEDIA SOLUTION PRIVATE LIMITED).

8. Prohibited Conduct

Standard acceptable use rules across our platform.

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Using the application for any unlawful, harassing, defaming, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or probe the application codebase, backend API endpoints, or security mechanisms.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance, or security of our servers and infrastructure.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract application content.

9. Intellectual Property

Ownership of software, trademarks, and cultural assets.

The Anant mobile application software, custom UI/UX design, graphics, branding, algorithms, logos, and proprietary source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Global Agent Studio and its licensors.

Public domain scripture verses remain in the public cultural domain; however, the proprietary presentation, bespoke commentary compilations, translation adaptations, software architecture, and user interface are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

As-is provision of the service.

THE APPLICATION AND ALL ASSOCIATED SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

GLOBAL AGENT STUDIO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

Scope of liability under applicable law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GLOBAL AGENT STUDIO, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE PRECEDING SIX MONTHS OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

12. Termination

Conditions for account termination.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access without prior notice if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may terminate your relationship with these Terms at any time by deleting your account and removing the application from your devices.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiation before submitting to competent courts.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be published on this page with an updated 'Last Updated' date. Your continued use of Anant after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
